It took all five games in the best-of-five grand final for Vici Gaming to defeat Virtus.pro 3-2 on Sunday at the Dota 2 DreamLeague Season 11 finale at Stockholm, Sweden.

The back-and-forth final started with Vici winning the first game with a 34-14 kill advantage before Virtus.pro took a close Game 2 with a 34-30 edge in kills. Vici then turned around an dominant win in Game 3 with 24 kills to Virtus.pro's eight, but Virtus.pro tied it up to force the decisive fifth game. Vici finally prevailed with a 16-6 win in Game 5.

Vici won the $350,000 first-place prize and 4,950 Dota Pro Circuit points at the $1 million tournament. Virtus.pro, who had to win five straight lower-bracket matches to reach the grand finals, earned $170,00 and 3,000 DPC points for the runner-up finish.

Earlier Sunday, Virtus.pro downed Fnatic 2-1 in the lower-bracket final; it was the same margin by which Vici triumphed over Fnatic on Saturday in the upper-bracket final.

Fnatic earned $100,000 in prize money and 2,100 DPC points for the third-place finish. Team Secret won $80,000 and 1,350 points for finishing fourth.
