Procter & Gamble joins the support for Be Cruelty Free Campaign

Procter & Gamble support the campaign to abandon testing of cosmetics on animals

Procter & Gamble are joining the campaign to ban animal testing. The company has invested over 40 years more than $420 million in development of ethical testing methods.

It is assumed that the corporation will continue to be engaged in the development of “approaches to assessing safety without using animals and promoting a legal end to testing of cosmetics on animals in the world's major beauty markets”.

Troy Seidl, Vice President of Humane Society International for Research and Toxicology, believes that animal testing is outdated and causes animal suffering. Therefore, they plan to legally end the testing of cosmetics on animals throughout the world.

The company plans to continue its research activities until alternative methods are found that have been approved by the regulatory authorities of all countries.
